50 Backpacks Vision is open from 8 am to 9 pm every day of the year. Homelessness does not go away for summer or seasonal breaks so the service is always in demand. This takes an enormous amount of commitment from our ever-expanding team of volunteers. 50 Backpacks VISION is a voluntary based, registered not for profit organisation that is able to provide practical front line help and support with many different issues. We work closely with local organisations and businesses to make sure that the people that need it, are getting the help that is available. We are able to feed, clothe and provide essential items to the homeless and less fortunate, serving upwards of 70 meals a day, every day of the year.
Our experienced support team can help with advice and signposting to external agencies to resolve any difficulties they may have before starting the re-homing process. We are also able to offer many different education courses to help develop new skills for employment and independent living.
